Friday beats: This week’s top new dance tracks you should hear

This week in dance music came with both big news and fresh sounds. During the first weekend of Tomorrowland 2025, the main stage at the festival had to be rebuilt after a fire, and Metallica helped by lending gear. Festival boss Michiel Beers and Insomniac’s Pasquale Rotella also spoke about UNITY, a huge joint show set for Las Vegas next month.

Elsewhere, French DJ Martin Solveig shared that he’s stepping away from touring. Timmy Trumpet had to cancel shows due to injury. Diplo gave us a peek into writing BLACKPINK’s new song ‘Jump,’ which he first wrote for his group Major Lazer. Meanwhile, for the K-pop fans, David Guetta dropped a fresh remix of ‘Golden’ from the K-pop Demon Hunters soundtrack.

Moreover, Canadian producer Bambii, named Rookie of the Month, opened up about her journey and her new EP Infinity Club II. Also in the spotlight, Madonna is back in the dance world with Veronica Electronica, a remix album for Ray of Light.
